BEE-LIST SERVER

The BEE-L "Discussion of Bee Biology" is an active (35+ messages per day) e-mail chat service for beekeepers. It forwards all e-mail sent to it by subscribers, to all the other (700+) subscribers. To subscribe to the Bee-L send an e-mail  message to LISTSERV@listserv@albany.edu with only four words: "SUBSCRIBE BEE-L First_name Last_name" in the body, without the quotes.  LISTSERV will then e-mail back a confirmation that you must reply to, before it adds you to the list. Your confirmation will contain instructions on how to use, or leave the list. All of this takes only a couple of minutes usually. Remember, all commands are sent to the LISTSERV addresses above.

Once you are a subscriber you may send messages to all the other subscribers on the list. Just send e-mail to BEE-L@listserv@albany.edu and the list server will forward copies to all of the subscribers. To avoid embarrassment, please never send any command to the BEE-L address, as it will be distributed to all of the subscribers. Please try to keep posts to the BEE-L interesting and informative to the majority of beekeepers, stay brief and to the point, avoid reposting of others comments, send personal items directly to that person, and don't solicit sales. To maintain the Bee-L as the words best question and answer forum for beekeepers etiquette and conscientious common sense must prevail.
